The Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Swiss Alps seems close enough to touch, as 20 kilometres of the Aletsch Glacier stretch out right in front of your eyes. This is a viewpoint where you will want to take your time and marvel at the sights before you.
At the Eggishorn View Point in the Aletsch Arena, you get the full program: from here, you can not only see the entire 20 kilometers of the Great Aletsch Glacier, but also the Konkordiaplatz and the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. You will also find the "Grand Tour of Switzerland" sign from Switzerland Tourism on the highest of the four view points (2869 m above sea level), which makes an excellent photo spot. The Eggishorn View Point can be easily reached by cable car from the Fiescheralp. If you get hungry or thirsty, then the small but excellent Horli-Hitta is the right place for you.
