The 3 suspension bridges

Aspi-Titter suspension bridge

At 160 meters long and 120 meters high, the Aspi-Titter bridge spans the fresh waters of the Weisswasser stream. It is located above the valley formed by the Fiescher Glacier and connects the municipalities of Bellwald and Fieschertal. To get to the bridge, expect to walk 1 hour 45 from Bellwald and 1 hour 20 from Fieschertal.
The Aspi-Titter suspension bridge is closed from November 1 to June 30 (winter closure) and is therefore not accessible.

Goms Bridge

At 280 meters, the Goms Bridge is one of the longest suspension bridges in Valais. Inaugurated in 2015, it spans the Lama Gorge and the Rhone at a height of 92 meters and connects the villages of Fürgangen and Mühlebach. Worth knowing for all hikers: the Goms Bridge is open all year round.

Aletsch Bridge

On the Aletsch Bridge, you cross the impressive Massa gorges over a length of 124 meters and a height of 80 meters. It is a wonderful five-hour hike between Belalp and Riederalp. From the bridge you can see the glacier tongue of the Great Aletsch Glacier.

Summer and winter

The town of Brig with its historic old quarter and the Stockalper Palace lies in the sunny Upper Valais at the foot of the Simplon Pass. Situated at an important junction, Brig is an ideal starting point for excursions. It is close to hiking and ski regions on the Lötschberg and Simplon, and in the Aletsch. It also has its own thermal baths, making it an attractive holiday resort.

The starting point of the themed trail is the village square in Fieschertal. The trail leads through the Lambrigge district towards the "Swiss Family" fireplace in Brüchergand. On the dinosaur trail, you will encounter 8 dinosaurs hand-crafted from wood in their original size. Information boards at each station provide interesting facts about the prehistoric dinosaurs. Walk in the footsteps of Ankylosaurus, Velociraptor, Parasaurolophus, Ornithomimus, Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Pteranodon, Dimetrodon and Oviraptor. This makes hiking really fun for little explorers and researchers.

Summer and winter

The Binntal in the Upper Valais is a wild and romantic side valley of the Goms. The valley is an Eldorado for nature lovers and especially for mineral hunters. But hikers will also find many rewarding destinations in the unspoilt landscape of this secluded valley.
